Save the date for our spring gallery hop with local artist, Alejandro Figueredo Diaz-Perera. Originally from Cuba and now based in LA, Alejandro specializes in conceptual art in a variety of media including video, sculpture, and installation. He holds a BA from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts and the Superior Institute of Arts ISA in Cuba. His work is represented by Aspect Ratio Gallery in Chicago and it has been featured in many publications including the New York Times and Frieze Magazine. He has given workshops and talks at the Chicago Cultural Center, the Art Institute of Chicago, University of Illinois Springfield, Bucknell University, Wake Forest University, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Arts, and Human Resources LA.
