Art Muse Los Angeles Marfa El Paso Texas Travel Excursion


Marfa, Texas, is not in the middle of nowhere. It’s at the far edge of nowhere, and that is to say it's magic. In 1971, the renowned minimalist artist Donald Judd moved to Marfa from New York City with the intention of installing his art. Since Judd's death in 1994, two organizations have been working to maintain his legacy: The Chinati Foundation and Judd Foundation. The Chinati Foundation now occupies more than 10 buildings and has on permanent exhibit work by such artists as John Chamberlain and Dan Flavin. Added to these attractions is the brand new, 10,000-square-foot permanent installation by artist Robert Irwin.

National Museum of African American History Art Muse Los Angeles


Experience spectacular new and old museums in our nation’s capital during this five-day late spring tour. It features an in-depth tour of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which opened in 2016. The museum, housed in a visually striking, metal-clad building tells powerful stories about the African American experience. We’ll travel to Potomac, Maryland to explore Glenstone, a recently expanded museum featuring contemporary art in both a modern gallery building and an expansive sculpture garden. Also included are private tours at the National Gallery of Art, Phillips Collection, National Portrait Gallery, Kreeger Museum, and artist studio visits.
