Art Muse LA’s immersive, intimate approach to looking at art extends to distinctive travel programs both in the United States and abroad. 

We visit artists in their studios, enjoy privileged access to museums and private collections, sample the best local cuisine, wander off-the-beaten-path to hidden art jewels, and stay in stylish hotels brimming with comfort. Sharing in-depth art and architecture-focused experiences with a small group of like-minded art lovers brings added delight. Our travel programs are designed and led by the Art Muse LA founding director and travel associate for groups of 12 to 16 people. Here's where we're headed in 2019: 

Art Muse Los Angeles Cuba

THE FACES OF CUBA: FROM MIAMI TO HAVANA

Miami & Havana · April 27th - May 4th, 2019

This eight-day trip offers immersion into the dynamic art scenes of both Miami and Havana, Cuba. Begin in Miami for three nights at the Betsy Hotel on Miami Beach. Highlights include a walking tour of Little Havana, private tours of the Perez Art Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art, and a visit to the famed Wynwood Walls. In Havana, the Biennial Art Festival will be in full swing, with innovative art showcased everywhere in the city. We’ll visit well- known and emerging artists in their studios, explore secret pop-up galleries, spend a day in the Xishing village of Cojimar seeing Hemingway’s former house and much more.

National Museum of African American History Art Muse Los Angeles

OLD AND NEW TREASURES IN WASHINGTON D.C.

Washington, D.C. · June 12th - 16th, 2019

Experience spectacular new and old museums in our nation’s capital during this five-day late spring tour. It features an in-depth tour of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which opened in 2016. The museum, housed in a visually striking, metal-clad building tells powerful stories about the African American experience. We’ll travel to Potomac, Maryland to explore Glenstone, a recently expanded museum featuring contemporary art in both a modern gallery building and an expansive sculpture garden. Also included are private tours at the National Gallery of Art, Phillips Collection, National Portrait Gallery, Kreeger Museum, and artist studio visits.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH IN ITALY’S VENETO REGION: THE VENICE BIENNALE

Padua & Venice · October 20th - 27th , 2019

Art Muse LA co-founder Robin Trento custom designed and will lead this tour to the Veneto, a region she knows intimately. The tour will allow immersion into northeast Italy, an area rich in fine art and architecture, with good wines, Palladian villas, elegant historic towns and ruined castles. Charmed hotels in Bassano del Grappa and Padua will be home base while visiting the nearby towns of Marostica, Asolo, Cittadella, Castelfranco Veneto and more. The trip concludes in Venice, where the Biennale, the art world’s global extravaganza, will be in full throttle.

Claude Monet Art Muse Los Angeles

MONET AND MORE IN DENVER

Denver · December 5th - 8th , 2019

The Denver Art Museum will be the only U.S. museum to show the most comprehensive survey of Claude Monet paintings in two decades when it opens Claude Monet: The Truth of Nature in fall of 2019. Join Art Muse LA for a special viewing of this exhibition, which will feature 100-plus paintings spanning the legendary French Impressionist’s career. The itinerary highlights several other of Denver’s outstanding museums and cultural attractions, including a private art collection. The ART, a stylish hotel with a curated art collection, will be home base for three nights.
