Join Art Muse Chloe Landis for a tour of LACMA’s exhibition, Afro-Atlantic Histories. This sweeping exhibition consists of works from the past four centuries and across the African diaspora and tracks the historical experiences and cultural formations of Black and African people. The exhibition charts the histories of the transatlantic slave trade and its legacies through a global approach, as well as themes of everyday life, rites, resistance and activism. Together we’ll explore the complexities of the diaspora through the exhibitions display of historic and contemporary works from twenty-four countries across Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

*Admission to LACMA is free for LA County residents starting at 3pm
