Join Art Muse for a journey across New York State exploring an extraordinary convergence of American art, architecture, craft and landscape. Beginning in Buffalo, we’ll discover the superb modern and contemporary collection of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, experience one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s great architectural masterpieces, and explore the legacy of the American Arts & Crafts movement before traveling through the spectacular scenery of western New York.

From there, we continue to Corning and the Finger Lakes, where the internationally renowned Corning Museum of Glass, American art, vineyard-covered hillsides, lakeside scenery and a taste of the region’s celebrated wines await.

The trip culminates in the magnificent Hudson Valley, where two exceptional destinations bring art and landscape together in unforgettable ways: Storm King Art Center, with monumental sculpture unfolding across 500 acres of hills and meadows, and Dia Beacon, where some of the most important art of the postwar era fills the soaring spaces of a transformed industrial building.

Conclude with a final night amid the glamorous curves of Eero Saarinen’s iconic TWA Flight Center at JFK with return flights scheduled the following morning.

Marfa, Texas, is not in the middle of nowhere. It’s at the far edge of nowhere, and that is to say it's magic. In 1971, the renowned minimalist artist Donald Judd moved to Marfa from New York City with the intention of installing his art. Since Judd's death in 1994, two organizations have been working to maintain his legacy: The Chinati Foundation and Judd Foundation, sites that we will visit.

Experience spectacular new and old museums in our nation’s capital during this tour. It features an in-depth tour of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, which opened in 2016. The museum, housed in a visually striking, metal-clad building, tells powerful stories about the African American experience.
