Art Social Hour: Queer Lens & $3 Bill with Chris Suzuki at Getty Center

Gay Activists at First Gay Pride Parade, Christopher Street, New York (detail), 1970; printed 2021, Arthur Tress. Gelatin silver print. Getty Museum. Gift of David Knaus. © Arthur Tress Archive LLC

Join us for a Saturday afternoon conversation and viewing of select artworks at Getty in two current exhibitions: the museum’s survey of the history of photography through a queer lens and the research institute’s celebration of the contributions of LGBTQ+ artists in the last century. Meet us in the photography galleries (West Pavilion, Terrace level), then move to the GRI for guided viewing and discussion. We conclude at Trellis for a beverage to continue the conversation.  First drink is on us!
