Join Art Muse lecturer Nancy Real on a tour of Diane Von Furstenberg: Woman Before Fashion on view at Skirball Cultural Center through August 31. The exhibition highlights the history and evolution of the wrap dress, first created in the early 1970’s by Diane Von Furstenberg. As we stroll through the galleries, we will see the origin, artistic inspiration and reinventions of this efficient, classic prototype of women’s clothing – designed by a woman for women.
